The
Gifford Centre
Located at Milton Park,
the Gifford Centre offers a comprehensive programme of activities
including occupational therapy, education opportunities, life and
work skills and group activities. The centre has been specifically
designed so that vulnerable persons, adolescents and single sex
groups may use the facilities without interfacing with other patient
groups.
The Gifford Centre will
hold evening and weekend Aspergers Clubs for Brookdale Care's residents
and non-residents. This will give people diagnosed with Aspergers
Syndrome an opportunity to meet in a safe and controlled environment.
Brookdale Care will also
be holding support and training groups for parents and carers of
people with ASD.
